The physical Microsoft Access AYS database file is protected with a Jet Database password. In order to access the database from a third-party tool (e.g. Microsoft Access, Crystal Reports, etc.) you will be prompted for the user name and password. The user name and password are available as part of the AYS data dictionary which documents all of the tables, fields, and queries within the database and their relationships.
The data dictionary is included at no cost with all support contracts, support subscriptions, and with the monthly rent-to-own program. The data dictionary may also be purchased separately for $99.00.
The latest version of the data dictionary is normally attached as a PDF file to the same email that includes your AYS license file. To request either the latest version of the data dictionary or the Microsoft Access database user name and password, please send an email to [email protected].
In order to protect the security of the data within your database, the user name and password will be provided only to the AYS software administrator registered with At Your Service Software, Inc.
