The following tables list the field mapping used when importing repair order detail updates from a file.
Column names in the import file will be automatically matched to the corresponding field mapping by first looking for an exact field name match (with or without spaces), and then by looking at abbreviations and synonyms to guess at the closest match.
Field Mapping for Version 2020 and earlier
| Field Name | Field Description |

| Link Field | A text string with a specific set of acceptable values. Acceptable values are RONo, Reference1, Reference2, Reference3, Reference3, or SerialNo. If this field is skipped, is empty, or otherwise contains an invalid value then it will be assigned the value RONo |
| Link Value | If the imported Link Field value is RONo then this may be an existing repair order number from 1 to 99999999. Otherwise this field may be a text string of up to 40 characters. This field may not be skipped or left empty. |
| Customer Number | An existing customer account number from 0 to 9999999, or a text string of up to 7 characters that matches the quick code of an existing customer account. This field may not be skipped or left empty. |
| Code | A text string (with no spaces) of up to 30 characters. It may be processed as an inventory part number, service code, or package code, depending on the imported Code Type value. This field may not be skipped or left empty. |
| Code Type | A text string with a specific set of acceptable values. Acceptable values are Note, Parts, Labor, Shipping, Handling, Travel, Field, or the equivalent configured custom caption for any of those code types. The first letter of each of those text string values is also acceptable. If this field is skipped, is empty, or otherwise contains an invalid value then it will be assigned the value Note |
| Inventory Location | The business location ID (a text string) of an existing inventory location with which an inventory part number code is to be associated. Of this field is skipped, is empty, or otherwise contains an invalid value then it will be assigned the Shared inventory location |

| Quantity | A numeric value of up to 4 decimal places |
| Price | A monetary value |
| Repair Step | A text string of up to 20 characters |
