AYS may be installed on a Windows Server with Terminal Services in order to run AYS on Windows remote clients.

The AYS installer is a standard Windows Installer package, therefore it will automatically install in Terminal Server Install mode.

It is recommended that Microsoft Access databases be hosted on the same server as the AYS program, although they can be hosted on a separate dedicated file server. While Microsoft SQL or MySQL databases may be hosted on the same server as the AYS program, it is recommended that they be hosted on a separate dedicated SQL server.
It is recommended that other applications that AYS may communicate with (e.g. Microsoft Office and Intuit QuickBooks) be installed on the same server as the AYS program.
It is recommended that you configure Data Execution Prevention (DEP) for AYS on the Windows Server to avoid Windows BEX errors.
On Windows Server 2008 R2 and later, Terminal Services is known as Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
