Every time the AYS program is run, the program installer starts automatically, sometimes in an endless loop.
By default, the AYS Process Manager runs as a stand-alone application, however it may also be installed as a Windows service running in the background. A Windows service can continue to run even if no user is logged in to the server or workstation.
Custom AYS report files must be copied to a special folder. The AYS program will automatically check that folder before printing any report to see if there is a custom version of the report file. If a custom report file exists then it will be used in place of the default report file.
To view the User log for the logged in Windows user, select File > Logs > User Log from the main program menu.
To view the QuickBooks log
for the logged in Windows user, select File > Logs > QuickBooks Log
from the main program menu.
To view the Process Manager log
, select File > Logs > Program Manager Log
from the main program menu. Only the program administrator
may view the Process Manager log file.
AYS is a 32-bit
software program. However it will run on 64-bit
versions of Windows.
