Error -2147024882 – Memory allocation error

When working with a MySQL database using an ODBC 5.x driver, a message similar to the following appears:

Error: -2147024882 – [MySQL][ODBC 5.1 Driver][mysqld-5.5.25a]Memory allocation error

Error: -2147024882 – [MySQL][ODBC 5.1 Driver][mysqld-5.1.66-0 ubuntu0.10.04.3-log]Memory allocation error

This error has been resolved in AYS version 3.5.005 or newer, in combination with newer tested MySQL connectors.

Please ensure that you are using one of the following drivers (connectors). You may need to delete your DSN entry and create a new one.

  • 5.3.4 or greater
  • 8.0.19 or greater

This issue is still under investigation, please submit a bug report to us if you still encounter this error with the newer drivers and AYS installations.
